Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Chair for studies on National Integration was constituted in the year 2016 with the intention of offering students/research scholars a platform to facilitate insightful thinking on all issues connected with focus on knowledge generation with an interdisciplinary perspective. In order to enrich the academic resources of the University for a deeper reflection on critical issues, the Chair can take up seminars, conferences, talk series etc. or publish Discussion or Working papers in any of the subareas of the thrust area. The Faculty Council on 16-06-2022 and UO No. 7248/ACA 3/2022/MGU dated 07-07-2022, nominated Prof. Asha J.V. as the Co-ordinator of the Chair and Prof. D.R. Goel Retired Professor and Director, CASE, The MS University of Baroda as Chair Professor. In order to enrich the academic resources of the University and for a deeper reflection on critical issues, the Chair has planned to take up seminars, conferences, talk series etc. and to publish Discussion/Working papers in some key areas.
